Barb Thomas recently facilitated a workshop through the City of Calgary’s Learning at Work Week. This year’s theme was ‘Building Community Through Cooking and Eating.’ The workshop was informative and interactive and a fun time was had by all! Group participants were able to learn basic food preparation techniques. We also made delicious creations that we were able to enjoy together. Barb shared with us the importance of community in cooking. I have already implemented Barb’s suggestions in my own meal preparations!
